With plenty of versatile seating for large family gatherings as well as intimate conversations, this gracious atmosphere was just what my clients had envisioned.
Many rooms have ready-made focal points - a fireplace or a large window with a wonderful vista. Here, a focal point is produced by locating a console, lamps and beautifully framed watercolor between two sumptuously draped windows.
A windowed bay alcove is the perfect place for a game of chess, or turn the table top over for teatime or desk area.
Comfortable accent seating is upholstered in an updated paisley and bright "kidney" pillow and can be pulled into the main conversation area for additional seating.
After completing furnishings and new countertops for the Kitchen and Breakfast nook, a new backsplash was added. Here is the in progress work with a close up of the new tile.
“Cracked Ice” tiles pull together oak cabinets and this venetian red quartz counter top.
Remodeling the Master Bathroom included a new shower, adding an additional sink and updating the new Roman tub with a tile surround.
Large scaled tile in a brick pattern is elegant in appearance while the glass, marble and gold leaf borders add a touch of glamor.
New vanity cabinetry, hardware, lighting and mirrors are added here before Venetian plaster look wallpaper was installed.
The hardware on the cabinetry is as elegant as a new bracelet.
